WinBase v2 is our time & attendance / job costing / access control solution, suitable for business's of all types & sizes. it uses an Access database, links to a whole host of clocking terminals, will import data from CSV files, & can easily export data to many payrolls including Sage, Opera & Earnie. Although this system is now over 2 decades old, it is still in current daily use by many of our customers, & still very much supported, with an optional upgrade path to WinBase.NET if required, which converts & retains all data.

If you wish to install on a fresh PC, you must download the full install program. If upgrading, you can use either the full install or the smaller upgrade program Download v2.90.46 Install Download v2.90.46 Upgrade Released Sunday 9th March 2021

Upgrade Information

• Use The Status Page To Ensure You Are Entitled To Download The Software
• Take A Backup Of Your Data
• Download The Software & Save The File To Disk. If Given The Option, Do Not Run From The Current Location
• After Downloading, We Recommend Copying The File To Your PCS Software Installation Folder, This Is Normally Found In C:\Program Files (x86)\WinBase, Although You May Prefer To Save It In Any Location You Can Easily Find Again. If You Have A Multi-User Version, Or The Database Is Deployed On A Server, You May Find It Useful To Save This File In A Common Network Folder, To Save Having To Copy It To Each PC To Run It.
• If Your PC Is Part Of A Network, You May Need To Be Logged In With Administrator Privileges Before You Run The Upgrade/Installation Program, As Files Stored In Your Windows System Folders May Need To Be Upgraded.
• When Downloading Has Finished, Ensure No Applications Are Running Or Minimised In Your Windows Task Bar.
• Run The Downloaded Program On Every PC That Has The Software Installed Before Logging In & Running Your PCS Software Again. You May Be Prompted For A Supplier Code When You Run The Upgrade Program, This Is Either Printed On Your CD Jewel Case, Or Can Be Obtained From Your Agent.
• After You Have Installed The Upgrade On All PC's, Run Your PCS Software On One PC Only To Start With, Where You May See An Audit Of DataBase Changes Being Made, Please Do Not Attempt To Log Into Your PCS System From Any Other PC's (If Networked) Until This Process Has Completed.
• Ensure You Upgrade ALL PC's & Don't Miss Any. Logging Into The System Using Different Versions Will Produce Unexpected Results & Could Result In Your System Being Locked Into Single User Or Demo Mode
• Reporting Your Current Version Back To Your Agent Or PCS Can Help Us Support You With Any Possible Issue's
