How To Upgrade PCS Software
bulletTake A Backup Of Your Data.
bulletClick The Download Button On The Page Of The Product You Wish To Upgrade.
bulletChoose To Save The File To Disk, Do Not Run From Current Location.
bulletSave The Upgrade Program In Your PCS Software Installation Folder, This Is Normally Found Under C:\Program Files.  Note: If You Have A Multi-User Version Of Our Software, Or The System Is Deployed On Several PC's, You May Find It Useful To Save This File In A Common Network Folder. This Will Save You Having To Copy It To Each PC To Run It.
bulletWhen Downloading Has Finished, Ensure No Applications Are Running Or Minimised In Your Windows Task Bar, Then You Must Run The Downloaded Program On Every PC Before Logging In & Running Your PCS Software Again.
bulletYou May Be Prompted For A Supplier Code When You Run The Upgrade Program, This Is Either Printed On Your CD Jewel Case, Or Can Be Obtained From Your Agent.
bulletAfter You Have Run The Upgrade On All PC's, Run Your PCS Software On One PC Only, Where You May See A One-Off Audit Of DataBase Changes That Need To Be Made, Please Do Not Attempt To Log Into Your PCS System From Any Other PC's (If Networked) Until This Process Has Completed.
bulletYour System Has Now Been Upgraded, And You Should Check That All PC's On A Networked System Are Running The Same Version. This Is Displayed On The Licence Tab After Selecting Help > About From The Pull Down Menu, & On The Login Screen.

All Our Products Are Virus Checked Prior To Uploading

Please Use The Status Check Page Before You Download & Install Any PCS Software, As This Will Determine If You Have Authority To Install It. Unauthorised Installation Of All Software On This Web-Site Will Place Your System Into Demonstration Mode.

If Your PC Is Part Of A Network, You May Need To Be Logged In With Administrator Privileges Before You Run The Upgrade/Installation Program, As Files Stored In Your Windows System Folders May Need To Be Upgraded.

You Cannot Directly Upgrade A WinBase Or MicroTime Version 1.xx.xx System Directly To Version 2.xx.xx, You Must Use The Version 2 Full Install Program Setup_v2.exe, Provided On CD By Your Agent, Or Downloaded From This Site. You Will Also Need A New Activation Key After Upgrading From v1.xx.xx.
